An example of a simile would be, " Everyone's hands pull, like the surf. The two things being compared would be someone's hands and and the force from the water while surfing. the page number is 159.

My example of a simile is, "...who could you see speeding by, like a comet in the sky?" The two things being compared are speeding by compared to being like a comet. page 8 of Love That Dog.

Palm trees and Berlin's ballet dancers are being compared.
A simile in my book is " Sapphire. It's like the secret password to my heart." The two things being compared are the girls name and her heart. On page 1.

An example from my book is actually the title of the book, "Heaven Looks a lot like the Mall". It is comparing Heaven and the Mall. It is on the front cover of the book.
