Metaphor

Please post an example of a metaphor from your poetry novel. Also explain, in a sentence, the two items that are being compared. Include the page number.

  18. An example of a simile in my book, "Everything is fine" is on page 131:

    "(She's)back in bed. With her white nightgown and her glue face and her eyes closed. She almost looks dead."

    Mazzy is comparing her mom's face to glue.
